Artist Residency

Prairie is a not-for-profit organization operated by a solo artist, dedicated to supporting artists by reinvesting all contributions into their endeavors. Our residency program welcomes emerging and established artists from both national and international backgrounds, providing a self-guided live/work space to develop projects and practices. While our focus is on fine artists, we welcome applications from creatives across all disciplines.

Situated in the heart of Charlotte's historic arts district in North Carolina.
Applications close July 1st.

Please note, our facilities do not include a darkroom, woodshop, printmaking equipment, or kiln onsite. However, these amenities can be arranged at nearby studios for an additional fee.
