Artist Residency

Summer/Fall 2025

Prairie’s residency program welcomes emerging and established artists, providing a self-guided and private work space to develop projects and practices. While our focus is on fine artists, we welcome applications from creatives across all disciplines.

Prairie is located at 106 College Street, Buffalo, New York (next door to Rivalry Projects.)

Submissions are due by Friday, August 8th at 12 noon EST.
Must be a local artist to apply.

Please note, our facilities do not include a darkroom, woodshop, printmaking equipment, or kiln.

Included:
- 600 sq ft studio, first floor, 24 hour access
- Tables, chairs, stools, easel, fridge

Not included:
- Housing
- Travel
- Food
- Materials
- Childcare
- Photography

Fee:
- $1,000 per month (can be split between artists and includes cleaning and utilities)

Not permitted:
- Events
